I DID NOT DRAW THIS! I JUST COLORED IT!!
The original was done by the very talented  Please go visit their gallery if you like the lines. I found this via  I didn't really grab inspiration from anything, I just knew I wanted her to have black hair, purple eyes and for all the linings to be blue. Oh, and I love her boots, I must find myself a pair just like them, they would totally rock my socks. There's something tho that I think you should take note and will help you out later. If I'm not mistaken you are using black for your shadows, instead, you should use a darker value of that hue but not completely black. This will help getting richer colors without needing too much saturation and the colors won't get muddy.

anyway, I'm really pleased that you decided to color my lines and that you liked her boots lol! footwear is one of the things I like to design the most!

Thanks for the tip, but that's kind of on purpose. I use that technique on the hair and skin but use black on man made materials. I'll keep it in mind though and tone back on the black. Thanks for the advice. Any help is appreciated, I am trying to improve. ^^
If you ever get into designing footwear professionally keep me in mind. I really want a pair of boots like those. ^^
